The origins
Numerology is one of the oldest forms of symbolic interpretation. Its roots go back to civilisations such as the Babylonian, the Egyptian and the Greek, and it is often associated with Pythagoras.
For the Pythagoreans, each number had its own essence, a vibration that manifested both in nature and in human life. This view crossed centuries and, over time, was systematised into what is called Pythagorean numerology.
It is important to understand: numerology is not an exact science nor a tool for guaranteed prediction. It is a symbolic language that invites reflection and self-knowledge, helping you recognise patterns and tendencies within yourself.
The four pillars of the analysis
Every numerological analysis starts from four fundamental elements. It is the combination of them that produces a personalised reading.
1. The numbers and their meanings
Each number from 0 to 9, plus the master numbers 11, 22 and 33, carries its own archetype. 1 speaks of leadership and beginnings; 2, of partnership and sensitivity; 3, of expression and creativity — and so on. Knowing these meanings is the first step to interpreting any calculation.
2. Your name
The letters of your name are converted into numbers using the Pythagorean table. From them come numbers such as Expression (how you show yourself to the world), Soul (your innermost desires) and Personality (the impression you make on others).
3. Your date of birth
The date you were born reveals the Life Path — considered the most important number in numerology, as it points to the central theme of your journey. Personal cycles also arise from it, describing phases and tendencies throughout life.
4. Synchronicities
Repeated times (such as 11:11 or 22:22), sequences and numbers that appear often in your daily life also receive a symbolic interpretation. For the tradition, these signs carry messages linked to the moment you are living.

How the numbers are calculated
The central principle of numerology is numerical reduction: you add the digits of a date or the letters of a name until you reach a number between 1 and 9 — or a master number (11, 22, 33), which is not reduced because it carries a special symbolism.
For example, for the Life Path of someone born on 14/03/1992, we add 1+4+0+3+1+9+9+2 = 29, then 2+9 = 11. Since 11 is a master number, it is kept — and interpreted as a path of heightened sensitivity, intuition and inspiration, as the image alongside illustrates.
The same principle applies to the name: each letter becomes a number, the numbers are added and reduced. The result is cross-referenced with the symbolic meanings of each number to compose the reading.
What numerology is for
Numerology works as a symbolic mirror. It does not predict the future with any guarantee, nor does it replace medical, legal or professional guidance. Its value lies in offering a language to observe yourself: recognising talents, understanding moments, reflecting on relationships and noticing patterns that repeat.
Many people use numerology as a tool for self-knowledge: understanding why certain themes appear often in life, why certain cycles repeat, or how the energies of a period can be used more consciously.
